I have stage IV bone cancer for the third time and right now I'm just working on getting better and traveling around the U.S. a little but my goal is to graduate from UT, travel the world, and LIVE for the rest of my life.

I guess I'm pretty easy going and have a great sense of humor. I'm always ready for adventure. I get along with almost everyone I meet and love to make new friends. I am really into nature and the outdoors.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with some amazing people in Australia who were very kind and are now my friends. I've had unofficial couchsurfers stay in my room at the co-op I lived in many times. I've also met many travelers who have been staying with my friends and have shown them around. I love meeting new people and showing them around town!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't choose one. Driving through a white out in Crater Lake National Park, partying with the non-English speaking locals in Rome, roadtripping the US with my friends, massive eating/drinking tour in Paris with my friends, motorcycling across the Bolivan Plateau in Laos, hiking up Volcan Pacaya to see the sunset in Guatemala, boating down the Mekong and seeing the rarest dolphin in the world, snorkeling with manta rays in Indonesia and dusky dolphins in New Zealand, surfing Raglan's, doing a 3-month solo backpacking trip through SE Asia and NZ, hitchhiking across the US, beating cancer twice... So may things!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a lot of knowledge about nature and the outdoors. I am a veterinary technician. I used to teach horseback riding. I can make a weenie dog balloon animal. I can catch snakes and am pretty sure I could wrestle an alligator... if it was small enough. I can make a dove and turkey calls. I can operate heavy machinery and fix things. I am a fantastic cook. I can do anything I put my mind to.

I also have a car and if I'm free I would love to show you around the Texas Hill Country, take you camping, roadtrip, etc.
