ABOUT ME

Hey) I'm a physics and math teacher from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Travelling is my passion and I use every opportunity to go abroad. I usually travel once a year that's why my trips are so valuable to me. I also like hiking and I've been to Norway mountains and Sayany mountains (they are near Baikal Lake). These adventurous trips were awe-inspiring! Visiting new places and meeting new people are most important things in my life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used couchsurfing in 2016 during my trip to Switzerland. I can't describe how cool it was to meet such great people! Personally, I believe that traveling is an amazing thing, especially when you visit the most fabulous sights in the world (the Eiffel Tower, the Statue of Liberty, Sagrada Familia and etc.), however traveling becomes more magnificent when you plunge into the atmosphere of the country you're visiting. For me the atmosphere is to meet people, have small talks with them about anything. Small talks can't truly show all aspects of life in a different country, though. That's why couchsurfing is the best option. Even if you stay for only 1 night you can see how people live, what the do in the evenings, with whom they communicate. In the evening you can discuss much more interesting topics, rather having a small talk on the streets like "Where is the nearby subway station?". One more important thing to me is that people with whom you stay can show you a city in the different perspective. They know their neighborhood much better than any travel agency, they can show you places, which are hidden from crowds of tourists.

兴趣

Traveling, new friends, languages. I like having discussions about everything. I really like talking :) Between humanities and natural sciences I prefer last ones. You know, I surf the Wikipedia and read a lot about planets, space, animals, plants, countries and etc.) For last several years I've been considered about taking interesting photos of my trips. I print these photos and hang them on my pinboard so any moment I can throw an eye on it and recollect the moments fo my travellings.

I prefer pop music such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Sia. I like some hip-hop bands like The Black Eyed Peas and etc.
Sci-fi movies and books are my favourite.
