After a short time in the corporate world, the need to travel became too strong! I've been sailing with an incredible sail training charity for many years but eventually I needed to do more. After various short trips, in 2016 I volunteered in Zambia for three months then took a job with the same organisation in Ghana for 4 months. Since then, all I want to do is see more of the world. Meet more incredible people with such different lives and backgrounds to me. Learn more about myself and about the world.
There are so many different ways of living and being.
In 2017 I booked my flight to Thailand on my first long term solo travel. 2 months turned into 5 before I knew it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been so inspired by the incredible hospitality I've recieved in Asia and the amazing people I have met. The experience is so incredibly different to staying in a hostel and I'm so grateful for the different things I learn.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything I can sing along to! Big fan of musicals, disney but also more popular music.
Movies: Not such a movie person, more series. I love the Arrow verse, action adventure and comedy. Sometimes I enjoy darker shows.
Books: Trying to expand my mind with books on pyschology currently but also a big fan of fantasy novels.
