About Me
Hola! I am finishing my last bit of university schooling abroad in Mexico- my major is in Geography but I have been heavily focused on biodynamics and specializing in desert biodynamic and permaculture agriculture and farms. I will be living in Todos Santos, BCS for the foreseeable future. During this time I will be doing a project to implement techniques for desert agriculture that mimic successful species that can survive in the desert. I grew up snowboarding and playing in the North Cascade mountains; however due to a devastating (at the time) knee injury last winter, I am a retired snowboarder and a wannabe surfer. I am testing the waters trading the snowy mountains for waves and beaches, and I am pretty excited about this bright future! Otherwise, I have learned to play to ukulele (during my injury down time) and have really enjoyed sharing and connecting with people musically. I also love to rock climb and fly fish; anyway that I can interact with nature I enjoy. I fight wild land fire in WA state during the summers to support myself, but due to injury, have taken the last summer off and studied abroad in the Guanajuato state of Mexico; focused on agroecology and rainwater catchment systems.
