Hello, my name is Nikki the Adventurer. I'm on a journey, I'm not sure where I'm going or where I'll end up, so I'm always on the go, searching for something unlike other things. I'm in it for the experience and the worldly knowledge - for the people and the beauty. I jumped into life with one eye open, fingers crossed and a head full of ideas. Sometimes I get blue, but most of the time I'm yellow, like a sunflower. If mermaids were real I'd like to be one. The water speaks in volumes to me as if it has its own language that only I can understand. I'm focused on very unique things. I love learning and I love language I think they're very important. I love sleeping, but hate when I sleep to long. I waste too much of my time already. I don't mind playing in the dirt, walking on oyster beds or gutting a fish, and I'll do it gladly in my summer dress. If it's outdoors it's for me. I smoke and drink and I know I shouldn't, but sometimes I think I should do it more. One of my favorite quotes is "Everything in moderation, including moderation itself." Quote unknown. I love my free will, I hope I never lose it. I could go on for days about free will, so I'll end on this note with a personal quote I wrote, "Use your free will to the fullest - and choose where you want to be in life."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because there's a nomad in all of us, we're all just trying to find something more in life. And let's face it, people offer that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I Backpacked through Europe for three months with a girlfriend. My only goal was to learn something new every day. And boy, did that happen! Sometimes you learn something new about the world and sometimes about yourself. But either way I conquered a lot during that summer. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I want to learn how to sail and hopefully some more language. I can share my knowledge on food and cooking, traveling, and how to have fun the Nikki way.
