To follow my heart when I can, art-out whenever possible, and experience something new every day.

ABOUT ME

I'm quiet but friendly, artsy, adventurous, open minded, idealistic, safe and relaxed. "By the seat of my pants" is my favourite way to travel... meeting new people, exploring new places, getting lost (while getting drunk?) and having fun.

I identify as queer, so meeting people who are open-minded and non-discriminate about sexuality is key.

PHILOSOPHY

Novelty is an absolute life-or-death necessity in my world, and I seek it every day.

I also believe that serotonin is the meaning of life. More whimsically, laughter, love, pleasure and happiness are the meanings of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My favourite way to pay back a kindness is with a sketch or drawing of your choice... Bottles of wine will suffice for those not interested in art! Or by giving your animals an absurd amount of love. I am a cat-scratching-master.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once while wandering Sauble Beach in the dead of night, a few strangers flagged a friend of mine and I down. Rather than kick us off their beach, the group (who ended up owning the majority of the land we were on) invited us to their fire, pitched us a tent, and housed us for a whole week. We set off fireworks, made art together, explored the nearby reserve and swam every day. It was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. I want to return that kindness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Graduate! Although more intimately, the steps I've taken to become a more calm, responsible and kind person are a huge personal achievement :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach you how to paint or draw, whether that means showing you the theories of perspective or anatomy, the way I blend acrylics, or how I learned dynamic lighting.

Alternately, I'd love to have a few drinks and share a few stories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm currently *very* busy with my work life, and though I do have a couch, I also have uptight room mates. If you're stuck and need an emergency crash spot for a night, give me a shout! Otherwise, I have to put my acceptance on hiatus for now.
