ABOUT ME

I am an easy going, fun loving flexible traveler who loves meeting new people and trying new things.
I have lived and traveled overseas many times, with all sorts of people in all kinds of living situations, so can adapt to pretty much anything :)
I love to get involved in the local culture of a place and explore the local favourites.
I am studying medicine at the University of Melbourne in Australia, but am having a year off and considering the possibility of taking even longer off.... possibly becoming a dive instructor, get my skipper's ticket etc so I can play on the Great Barrier Reef and take all my friends with me...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking to surf in the USA in August while I'm travelling, and next year when I go back to Melbourne I will def put my couch up for surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to couch surfing but cant wait to get involved!

Interests

I love anything at all to do with the ocean and the reef - scuba diving, snorkelling and especially free diving.... im learning to surf but am definitely no expert!
In the winter months I love to snowboard (and occasionally ski) but am definitely a snowboarder at heart.
During a normal week i like to run and swim to keep fit - keeps me happy and active outdoors :)
Weekends I am out and about with my friends.... I love a good bar, house party, music festival, dinner party or whatever is on the cards for the night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing six 4-5 metre tiger sharks swim by while my sister and I were hanging off the back of the boat (definitely not all the way in the water!) during the filming of the BBC documentary 'The Great Barrier Reef'.... crazy experience.... so so cool
