ABOUT ME

I'm a college student studying English and American literature. I love books, I love talking about them, reading them, and dreaming about writing them...
i love spending hours in bookstores, museums, art galleries, cafes, parks, gardens...
life feels complete when I'm traveling, writing, reading or framing the world through the lens of a camera. I love sharing life with others, getting to know other people and their motivations, beliefs, hopes, thoughts... talking over a cup of tea, a glass of wine, having a picnic or going for a rambling walk. I believe in generosity, authenticity, whimsy, creativity, spontaneity.
Tolstoy said that the purpose of literature, what he hoped would happen when someone read one of his books, was that they would laugh, cry and come to love life. I think the same could be said of traveling.

i have been awed by so many places and sights. kyomizu temple in kyoto, bhaktapur in nepal...

I'm not sure what I can 'teach' but I love learning more about myself, the world, ideas, through conversation. I love to talk about literature, art, philosophy, travel, food! I'm working on my cooking skills, I'd like to be a good cook!
