ABOUT ME

I left my heart in Ticuantepe, Nicaragua to return to grad school leaving behind friends and family. I love to salsa dance (casino style preferred), travel, and bake. I'm obsessed with HGTV, a la House Hunters International, and used to visit homes for sale in Nicaragua just to see inside someone else's world.

My dream is to work in international education organizing global programs that challenge students to step outside of their comfort zone. I was previously working in international development and currently having an internal debate regarding my role in "developing" another community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed yet, but I have signed long term leases to live with people I've never met, with varied results. I am easy to get along with and love to hear other people's perspective on the world.
