About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I'm a 30-year-old artist, maker, traveler, ex-consultant, and aspiring healer. I practice inspired gong fu cha tea service, and I like to play music. Here in California I am a co-founder of an eight person cooperative, The Wondership. I would not be the nurturing, patient, transparent, strong, and committed person I am today without these experiences, and I am constantly amazed at our shared values for this type of living.

PHILOSOPHY

"always perfect everything perfect."
"be excellent to everyone, and party on dudes"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I participate by being an excellent guest. As I surf, I love making coffee and breakfast, bourbon and dinner. Since moving to California six years ago, I lived in 4 intentional communities. We always have tons of characters from all over the world who came for a few days to a few months. It is so nice to offer those in need, who have just crash-landed in one of densest city in the US, a safe and warm place to get their duckies together.
Living in a community has enhanced my general appreciation for helping others. It's not something to be commended or noted, because it's just the way we live. I often catch myself saying "of course" instead of "you're welcome" which I think is an excellent summary of how I feel on sharing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've always been a hostess for those in need. Unofficially, but we've all been there. I'm always the one to feed and shelter you on a cold rainy day and make sure you're well taken care of before you face the outside world again. Living in Boston in a house with 2 actual roommates and 5 surrogate ones turns you into a full time host/mother. This concept is something that I thrived off of in college & happily embraced/encouraged. There is nothing I love more than feeding people. These unofficial but same in-concept experiences turned me into the happy wholesome person that I am today.

Interests

Taking pictures, gong fu cha, house music, walking, yoga, coffee, sunlight, art, holding space, crafting, practicing herbal medicine, dancing, meditation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach compassion.
Learn myself.
Share everything that I own.

What I Can Share with Hosts

People keep commenting on this warm energy that I apparently have. I'm also an excellent coffee and Belgian waffle maker. Planning on hosting a little stand "KiKi's Coffles" to share these breakfast standards and celebrate both of these skills.
