I’m a Dutch girl currently living in Cardiff, Wales to complete my Master’s programme in Biomedical Engineering with a Master’s thesis.
In the last few years I’ve been travelling through Europe by train during the summer holidays. I love to explore new destinations, cultures, and trying the local cuisine.
I’ve never visited the UK before, but since I’ll be living in Wales for the next 5 months, I’d like to discover everything the UK has to offer.
I am completely new to Couchsurfing. I met people in Cardiff that shared their experience with Couchsurfing and convinced me to try it. Now, I’m looking forward to meeting my first Couchsurfing host :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First I was a bit doubtful about this concept, but I met people in Cardiff that enjoyed the experience with Couchsurfing. It made me realize that traveling abroad can be much more exciting and cheaper (thus realizable for a student like me) than you think.
