ABOUT ME

Outdoorsy, thoughtful, relaxed, more into good conversation with a small group than partying or clubbing. I can be a little shy at first but once I find common ground I love talking and visiting.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I very much enjoy hosting all the interesting and friendly people I've met through Couchsurfing and other hosting sites. I've learned a lot and made many friends.
When I was just out of school I traveled for a year and stayed with probably 200 generous families - so now that I have a home of my own I love to share it with others.

Interesses

Even though in many places you're not supposed to, I like discussing politics and religion. I'm a newspaper reporter so nosy questions are part of my job. I'm opinionated once I settle on one but have a hard time doing that since I can almost always see both sides of any issue. I love cooking, eating and drinking. Also like outdoor sports like running, hiking, cycling, paddling, climbing, plus art, playing piano, taking photos, writing, reading.

Ran a 24-hour relay along the border and through Waterton and Glacier National Parks - I ran the sunrise leg on the morning of solstice and the prairie east of the Rockies is stunning.
