Hi there :)

My name is Niklas, I'm 25 and I moved to Essen a couple of years ago to study English and French - and I'm in the middle of the long and complicated process of becoming a teacher here in Germany now.

When I'm not currently exploring languages (you might have noticed that I like them :P), I enjoy reading, cycling, hiking, geocaching and sometimes just relaxing at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I couchsurfed with a friend on a couple of occasions now, so the next logical step was to sign up and create my own profile. I think it is a very special way of travelling and I'm thankful for the experiences I've had. Surely, I also want to return some favours to the Couchsurfing community.
