About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I finally found the time to update my profile after arriving in sweden:
I'm doing an ERASMUS semester right now in Göteborg in Sweden and
so far man, Sweden's sweet!
ABOUT ME
What my friends say about me:
I'm... reliable, down to earth, friendly and open-minded, fun loving. Plus i enjoy the company of friends and people in general.
Be warned: I like to talk and lot and often , though at times I can be on my own quite good as well. Just give a good book and I can read for hours straight!
I'm always up for fun and everything silly!
PHILOSOPHY
“Nobody ever figures out what life is all about, and it doesn't matter. Explore the world. Nearly everything is really interesting if you go into it deeply enough.”
― Richard P. Feynman
"Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning."
― Albert Einstein
Be curious and have trust in people, too few people do this nowadays.
Non smoker and vegetarian, but I really don't preach about any of that. Each to their own :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the whole concept of sharing and paying it forward, which I also embrace when hitchhiking :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Great so far! Have met heaps of friendly, cool, interesting, fun and generous people, really really made my travels outstanding so far!
I hope I'll be able to finally kick off my hosting game here in Sweden :D
Interests
For a lot of time dancing has been my main hobby, if you want to know what I did you better google "rocknroll acrobatic", because it's quite hard to describe.
I also used to read a lot, which i find less time for since I got further with my university education.
In 2014 I started capoeira in Kiel and have been really excited to progress in it since then - but I'm not any good yet. But I'm back on it now and working hard, I guess :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Regarding music im more of an alternative and rock type, but enjoy every genre when its a decent artist :) I have the opinion that almost everything can be improved by music, so I'm listening to it all the time.
I love music especially when it's played live to going to music festivals like Hurricane Festival / Deichbrand / Wilwarin etc in Germany is one of (if no the) highlight of my summer. I can give survival advice if you plan on going to a similar crazy festivity!
Too many Books to list, but can't wait till the new 'a song of ice and fire' novel is out - write faster Goerge Martin!!!! Oh and loved the dark tower by stephen king!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2008 i won the world championship in rock and roll dancing youth formations in St. Petersburg, Russia.
I did a 6000+ km roadtrip with three awesome fellow travellers from Melbourne to Perth via the red center - saw so many amazing places on the way!
My whole gap semester has been the adventure of my lifetime so far, taking me on awesome hikes, the couches of breathtakingly hospital hosts und a one month sailing trip up the coral coast in Queensland :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can (if people really want to hear about it, which i mostly doubt) teach people basic physics or help them with math and/or programming stuff, since this is what I learn in university. But give it a try I'm very enthusiastic about it and have been told I can be a good teacher.
I always have some german swear words / drinking sayings / (bad) pick-up-lines to teach for you to impress your friends.
What I Can Share with Hosts
All of the above mentioned and stories I can tell from previous travelling.
I'd love to bring a bottle of wine and/or a sixpack of beer to have a relaxed drink together.
If you like me to I can and will cook for you, but be aware that I tend to get creative. Veggies curry is always a good option :)
Of course I also got some german dishes in my repertoire if I can find all the ingridients.
I am a great and proven washer of dishes!
