After I finished school in 2011 I spend 6 months in Australia on a Work & Travel program. While working in Sydney and traveling Australia, I experienced the joy of meeting people from all over the world and the adventures which come with discovering a foreign country.
In 2012 I started studying Mechanical Engineering at the Technische Universität Dresden. I moved out of my parent's place to share an apartment with four other students.
I spent the fall semester 2015 in the USA at California State University Long Beach. I could experience the awesome lifestyle of California and the laid back folks. Afterwards I traveled another month through the States, saw great places and met even better people.
Now I'm back in Dresden and am happy to host travelers from all over the world to get to know their stories and to share mine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get to know new people with different attitudes and cultural backgrounds. It brings people from all over the world together. Besides that it's possible for travelers on a low budget to find a cheap accommodation.

Interests

My biggest passion is sports, especially soccer and bicycling. When I have the chance, I also do rock climbing, badminton, squash, surfing, skiing, scuba diving and anything that is fun.

After doing sports I love it to relax and watch a movie or a series or meet friends for a beer and talk.

Another hobby is cooking. Even if I don't cook really fancy meals, my roommates always like my food.

During semester breaks I try to make trips with friends to different countries. I love staying in Hostels and meeting new interesting people, explore cities or the surrounding nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually listen to electronic music like (deep)house, dubstep, drum n bass or techno. But I also enjoy indie rock, pop or whatever sounds good to me.

My favorite movie is "Limitless" and my favorite series "House of Cards"

I'm not a big reader, but I really liked "Narcissus and Goldmund" by Hermann Hesse
