Im currently taking a gap year from university and spending time in Italy to improve my Italian :)

I just joined couchsurfing, even though I always loved the idea of being part of this community. I like to share my home with friends and their friends for sharing time, a nice dinner, having good conversations and spending nice time together. Furthermore, I love the simple way of meeting people from all over the world and learn from each other about culture, food, languages...

So, who am I?
I'm a guy in my mid-twenties who loves traveling, reading, learning from people about cultures and also about myself through relations with other people.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was travelling to Svalbard last summer with my friend, the most stunning moment apart from the amazing nature was the midnight sun. This phenomenon is impossible to cognitively understand until one has seen and felt it. One night we were cooking dinner around 11 pm and suddenly I had the idea of having dinner in the sun. So we took our plates and went outside to sit on some pallets in front of the house. Even though the temperature was around 5 degrees, the warmth of the sun and the view of the mountains on the other side of the fjord made this dinner unforgettable.

While filling in this section I'm thinking that the words teach and learn remind me too much of the way teaching is done at school. Even though I used the word learning in the description of me as well, I'd rather consider it as sharing knowledge with fellow travellers, hosts and guests. In my opinion, no one should ever stop broaden one's mind and the best way of doing this is meeting people from other cultures with other traditions and get to know their view of the world. Through conversations, discussions or simple talks relations can emerge to something new and unexpected. So, let's meet up and get to know each other!
