I'm Nik, 22, from Germany.
The travelbug got me some years ago and ever since it's hard for me to stay at one place for too long. I've been enjoying fourteen months of traveling just after I finished school and met wonderful people all over the world. Some of them belong to my best friends now.
However, as I study Biology and Sports now, I do not always have enough time to travel the world any more. I live in a flat with two of my brothers now and we would like to host backpackers who would like to see Bochum or simply enjoy a tranquil evening.
Kaspar, my younger brother traveled about South America for half a year, spending most of his time in Argentina, and Jakob went to Kanada for a few weeks some years ago and studies Englisch and History now.
If you'd like to catch up go ahead and ask for it. As long as one of us is home it shouldn't be a problem.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My family's house was always open for foreigners. We hosted Au Pairs from Slovakia, Poland and Belarus, travelers from Thailand, Bulgaria and China and students from Argentina, New Zealand and France.
Since I started traveling I often stayed at local's places as well. I had wonderful couchsurfing experiences in Ecuador and New Zealand, where people not just offered me a bed but showed me their culture and lifestyle.
