🚲 My big dream is travelling by bike around the world since teenager. And right now I'm slowly cycling to Rio de Janeiro

I'm an easygoing and open-minded guy who gets excited about trying new things. I'm usually more of a listener than a talker - though it depends on my mood and energy. Lately, I've learned to appreciate and be thankful for small things and genuine moments with people. I believe that's what makes life truly happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Occasionally during some (especially solo) trips I use Couchsurfing to get into contact with new people. It's a great chance to share experiences from travels, hobbies and everyday life. I like hearing different perspectives, discovering local places that I’d never find on my own.

Interests

My interests are based on photography, travel, movies, music, learning languages and sports - especially football. Very likely I'm open to get to know local music, dance and food, play football and take some pictures while meeting you. In the past I played football and futsal, nowadays I play rarely, but I still enjoy playing, watching and having conversations about it.

My favourite style of photography is minimalism, but I also take other type of photos. I would like to start doing model shoots in the near future.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC
I listen very variety music. I am open to many musical genres. I'm constantly discovering new music. electronic, experimental, indie rock, alternative, rock, jazz, funk, r&b, ambient etc. According to Spotify, my favourite artists last year were - Nicolas Jaar, Babe Rainbow, Ariel Kalma, Hania Rani.

MOVIES
Recent years I used to be a movie freak, I've watched a lot of them, but still haven't seen a few classic movies... Definetely the most I like drama and prefer non-english movies from all around the world. My fav film is called "The Fall" (2006).

BOOKS
I am not a big reader so far, however occasionally I try grab my kindle. I read the most popular science and travel literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I couldn't decide on just one, so I wrote out three!

When I was 19 I went on my first solo trip to Northern Italy. An unforgettable experience! By the way, I started using Couchsurfing right then!

In 2022 I cycled my country, Poland, from the south to the Baltic Sea. From the middle of the trip I struggled with pain in my knee, but I couldn't give up and happily fulfilled one of my smaller dreams.

In November '23 I cycled solo from my home in Poland to Greece. Chased by dogs, soaked by rain, scared by crazy drivers and jackals, even spending some hours at hospital because of paint poisoning I reached Greece.

Teach, Learn, Share

I take pictures, so I can show you how to take good pictures or make some foto session. This is probably the most frequent skill I share with others :)

I can teach you some polish words. It's always fun to hear people trying say something in polish 😀

And...
One of my longtime skills is brownie baking. I have a whole recipe in my head, if you have the taste for it, I can bake it very quickly!
