I am a CS-beginner...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once, me and my friend we were desperately searching for a hostal in Valencia, Spain. The city was totaly packed because of a Formula One event which we didn´t know. As we gave up searching we ended up sadly at a bar discussing about what to do next. There we met this georgeous person called Antonio who offered us a room (for free) at his place. We went to a supermarket, we cooked, we drank wine, we went out together and he drove us to the beach the next day. We have been amazed about sooo much hospitality and we asked him "why are you doing all of that for us ??!" and he responded: "don´t you know couch surfing? I´m a couch surfer too..."
This was the first time I heard about couch surfing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone of us who once in his life packed his backpack and just went to see the world and to meet people from all over the world without having a certain destination, knows what it is about. You never come home as you were before. Once you had this experience, you´ll never stop travelling in all of your lifetime :) This is no big science, it´s just the philosophy that makes a couch-surfing-comunity live and grow.
