Hey there!
My name is Niki, a scenic sculpturer and painter from Germany. I've spent most of my life in Germany with some short trips abroad and after finishing my studies I want to get to know the world and people better, keen on being inspired and broadening my knowledge of other countries and cultures. I'm a massive fan of Ireland and Scotland, so this is where i'll start. After that, who knows ;)

I'm currently in between jobs and therefore travelling around Ireland. I've just arrived in Dublin and since I'm travelling alone I'd love to meet and connect with some locals to get to know the country, its history and people not just from a tourists perspective. My new job doesn't start till January and until then I'd love to see as much of Ireland as possible. Dublin is my starting point. I don't have a fixed route planned, counting on people i meet along the way and impressions to lead the way, wherever the wind or rain blows.

Apart from my hobbies, I'm particularly interested in people and their passions and motivation in life. I've found that no matter how different we seem there's always room for enriching and stimulating conversation - if someone is passionate about something I really enjoy listening and getting caught in new things, you never know where that might lead you :)

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm open for any kind of Music, always happy to get to know new styles. Techno, electro or hiphop however are not for me. Since arriving in Dublin I'm completely blown away by the amazing live music on the streets and in the pubs! It's hard to name specific books or movies I like since there are far too many but I'm always keen on discovering new worlds

After school I volunteered at a theater for a year. Amongst other things I was an extra for a children's play with ridiculous colourful and sparkly costumes, "grown ups" fooling around on stage, anything goes - happy days, that memory always brings a smile to my face and reminds me not to take life too serouisly ;)
