About Me

I'm currently a student and will stay in China at least one semester as an exchange student, something I'm very much looking forward to!

Since the first time I traveled alone I was hooked. Trying the local food, learning about a new culture and how people live has become one of my biggest interests, I am always trying to understand people in the countries I visit and try to see the world through their eyes.
Through understanding, hate can be eradicted.

I want to explore and see as much as possible that the world has to offer and meet all the wonderful people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet local people to learn more about their culture and the place they live in.

Interests

I love learning about different cultures, traveling and meeting people from all over the world is making it all possible.

I also like spending time in nature by hiking or just relaxing by the water. I don't like to rush through things or stress and am currently learning more about meditation to keep me more grounded and more mindful.

Furthermore I like reading articles or books on different topics such as philosophy, psychology, self improvement etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is of huge variety depending on the mood im in. I listen to classical music, rock, electronic music etc. I like exploring some of the lesser known artists. If you're interested I can share some of the artists I listen to.

Recently I read "Can't hurt me" and I highly recommend it if you're stuck in life and need a mental push.
Since I am also interested in tea I liked "The tea girl of Hummingbird Lane".

I have watched " The Big Lebowski" more than any other movie, it just doestn't get bad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One night when I was going back to my hostel in Hoi An with some friends we walked through a park where some local guys were playing guitar, singing and drinking. They invited us over, and we shared a few hours together, we didn't understand eachother, but we connected through music. It was the simplest thing, but a beautiful one nonetheless.
