2023:
Just opened my profile, as I am travelling again. I used couchsurfing more in the past, when I 21 and travelling through South America. Great times!
I'm 30 now and this time doing a trip i Colombia june/july of 2023.
I thought it was fun to keep my old profile text, so here you can see my life perspectives as a 21-year old.

2014:
I'm an open-minded and outgoing dane, who likes to see stuff and meet new people. I think i'm a pretty simple guy who is easy to be around.

I'm kind of taking 2014 off to go abroad, think about my life and just catch some great experiences before I start university (if I decide to start). From 21st of January I have been in Guatemala, working as a volunteer-firefighter and as a bartender in a club. The 14th of June I will be off to Bogotá, Colombia.. and will somehow find my way through South America.

-- Update: I go back to Denmark from Bolivia on the 14th of november. Traveling through Peru during the month of October--

I prefer to be around local people and don't really like staying at hostels. I feel more organized and welcome when I am at somebody's home, and also think it's a better way to get to know the places I go to... and a great way to get some exiting conversations about cultural differences - which I really enjoy.

PHILOSOPHY

It's kind of a philosophy of mine to keep on trying out new things and learning new skills. It keeps life exciting! New sports, new places, new cultures, new foods, new drinks, new people, new languages, etc.. Just doing something new and different.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Try to spread joy when I surf or host. Generally I just think it's really fun to meet local people when I'm traveling in a country, and to meet travelers in my country. Sharing experiences and all..
My current living-situation is not really convenient to host.. however i'm more than happy to socialize and share stories.

Met some great people who have become even greater friends. CS turned out to be one of by best decisions for my travels..

Interests

I love moving my body, being physical active, seeing stuff and being with people. I'm a big music fan and love going to concerts. Also I'm of course always interested in drinking a beer or a cup of coffee... which are probably my two favorite beverages.
