I'm planning a trip to Oahu starting at the end of August with my roommate and we don't have an end date to our trip, hoping to stay 1.5-2 months. We are going with the flow and really want to meet new people along the way.

One thing I have done that I take pride in is that I planned and did a ten day backpacking hike on the Superior Hiking Trail, for myself and my two brothers. It was months of preparation both physically and mentally, and the actual hike tested me in many more ways and I learned so much about myself. It was a trip that pushed my limits and taught me valuable survival lessons. I met many people along the way and loved swapping stories. It was an experience I would do many times over. I also learned how good a cold beer tastes after hard work.
