I'm an amateur filmmaker who spends his time writing and directing comedies and comedy-dramas at Brown University, under their Literary Arts program. I'm liberal, despite being from Texas--I swear, where I grew up was pretty open-minded.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've only recently started using Couchsurfing, going to Austria last month with another CSer (Ted Schaefer) to stay with Miko, a CSer living in Vienna, but I'm excited to see its potential.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My time in Vienna was great, with a pleasant trip to a brewery and time to connect with our fellow CSer (unfortunately, he was a pretty busy guy, so we didn't see much of him during our stay).

Films by Woody Allen, Noah Baumbauch, Ben Stiller, the Coen Brothers, James L. Brooks, and David O. Russell. Music-wise, I listen to Pavement, The Dandy Warhols, Foo Fighters, Elliott Smith, and movie scores by Thomas Newman and Carter Burwell.

My semester stay in Prague writing and shooting a short film was among the most amazing times of my life.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I know tons about filmmaking, from practical to theoretical, and especially the writing process. I'm very astute with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Color, Motion, Photoshop, Illustrator and somewhat skilled in sound editing.
