About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enjoy life before it's too late!
ABOUT ME
Hello! I am a Taiwanese Canadian moving to France for my Master's Degree in September of 2014. Did my undergraduate studies in Food Science thus I am a huge lover of food. I'm fortunate to live in Vancouver where we have great varieties of ethnic food from around the world.
I am currently working as a Quality Assurance Technician at a Indian Food Manufacturer. After 2 years I realized I wanted to experience a different lifestyle and immerse myself in a different culture. Thus the master's degree in Paris!
I am nervous but definitely excited to start the next chapter of my life in France!
PHILOSOPHY
Be a doer and not a dreamer. A do-er makes their dreams come true.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed once in Bruges and our hosts were super generous with their time and stories.
We had tried to couch surf more on our backpacking trip but unfortunately there were 3 of us and it was hard to find hosts that would welcome 2+ travellers.
Interests
I am a huge sports fan. Hockey (duh. Canadian), basketball, the olympics (Volunteered in 2010). There's nothing like the roaring of a crowd rooting for your home country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I have experienced was watching Canada win the gold medal at a bar in Vancouver. The overwhelming joy from that day still gets me overly emotional. Never did I experience such national pride.
Teach, Learn, Share
Since I do have a degree in Food Science, I know a lot of food processing knowledge lots of people are surprised to hear.
