I am a freelance writer, traveling around China and world.

Jian is my Chinese name, but I goes by my original name, Nilao. I belong to one of ethnic minority tribe in China, we lived in the tropical border area between Myanmar and China.

I wrote travel guides for LonelyPlanet and another brand in chinese, published 20 books so far. Most of its about how to traveling in China, India and Himalayan reagion.
