About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finding a proper job and improving my english:)

ABOUT ME

I am a boring, lazy person with absolutly no sense of humour. If you manage to read through my whole profile without falling asleep, I am pretty sure we get along and you are most welcome. Besides, I dislike nature, sightseeing and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

C'est la vie.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Oh, man, I feel terrible...I always ask if I can stay at other people's homes, but hosted just a couple of times myself. I wish I was a real adult, who has a real home to host. Maybe one day...;D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have travelled for some time and half of the time I was staying at CSmember's places. It is incredible how very well this was working! But I also liked spending time with guests, showing them around, seeing home through their perspective:)

Interests

What I like most is eating. That's what's good about cs : maybe my host or my guest shows me how to cook native meals (and not just, what is here considered to be native). That would be fantastic! I already learned how to prepare Banitza and Bibimbab, for instance;)

I am very fond of my bike. I named it Adalbert-Hank Münster and I plan on showing him a bit more of the world:)

Music, Movies, and Books

For being honest, I am not interested in music, but I used to be a great reader. Now I don't have that much time, but still try to read a book every once in a while. I do not have a special type of what I am reading, I nearly try every genre - but I just learned recently that I do not like mystery that much. The books I like most, and which are more or less known, are the Harry-Potter-Series, Wuthering Heights (Bronte) and Trials And Tribulations (Fontane). Less known are the probably the Inspector-Lynley-Series by Elizabeth George, The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield, The Camerons by Robert Crichton or Falle für Aschenbrödel by Sébastien Japrisot. And for some reason I really like reading plays, such as The Importance of Being Earnest (Wilde), A Streetcar Named Desire (Williams) or A doll's house (Ibsen).

My favorite films are: Forrest Gump and Grease, the hours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made several biketrips. One was with my former bike from Cologne to the Northsea, without a real map! Still we found the way and with one exception also everytime a campsite. This one time we really slept in a grainfield. It was very exciting!

In retrospect it is unbelievable that I traveled via the Transsiberian Rail through all of Russia, nearly 10.000 km of birches. The scenery is so beautiful, I cannot explain how much I enjoyed the trip. Luckily I did it before all that visa complications arose and Russia got even more restricted. I absolutely intend to repeat that trip with other stops, visiting my new friends on the way:)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am also very interested in cooking. I am not that great, but normally people do not complain. So, if I stay somewhere else, I could do the cooking. But I also would be very happy, learning new meals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Normally I carry some sort of food around with me, who would have guessed ;)
