Overview
About Me
My main goal is coming through this life without getting bored and with taking as much as possible. So sometimes I try to start new things (this year I started learning Krav Maga and Kayaking) and do trips and activities very spontaneously
I enjoy to get in touch with people from all over the world as I like to exchange and I like to understand different point of views, especially from diverse cultural backgrounds. That is also, why I'm interested in learning languages. During my times at university I did at least one language class per semester and when I'm traveling I always try to learn at least basic stuff from the country's languages (telling me interesting fun facts about your language is always welcome :D)
One main thing for me is learning, I like to broaden the horizon, try out new things and get new knowledge ("For knowledge itself is power").
I enjoy nature a lot so when I'm free I try to go to the mountains or at least do some sports outdoors in the nearby forests. In summer one of my absolute favorite activities is going to a viewing point, the riverside or to a lake with friends and have some beers.
I am also a huge fan of music, I love to discover new and different music styles, especially from foreign countries and genres I haven't heard of yet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS is a good chance to meet people from all over the world and the best way to learn about how is life in foreign countries and to learn new things. I was lucky to experience some cool stories, like once a host got us spontaneously to a local music festival for free or another one showed me a bar with a drinking that only exists there, never would have experienced that without CS.
