As much as I like my home country, I'm always looking forward to my next vacation and I try to travel whenever I have the time (and the money, let's be real for a moment). I take interest in a lot of things but more particularly literature and languages in general (which is coincidentally what I am studying) but any topic will do really I am not picky. On the contrary I will always be glad to learn about something I'm not familiar with.
I'm very open-minded and enjoy meeting people with a way of life that is different to mine, they always have interesting stories to share and similarly I like giving an insight of what my life is like.
I will always be glad to go grab a beer or go out (and possibly get wasted if things go well)
My big plan for next summer is to hitchhike through Canada, if you think I am crazy feel free to tell me so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm an aspiring writer so I need all the inspiration I can get. I enjoy learning about other people's culture and interests as much as I like talking about mine. I try as often as I can to escape my daily routine and I think meeting new people and traveling is a very good way to achieve that (with the benefit of not being completely broke in the end)

Music, Movies, and Books

- I will enjoy basically any type of music if I listen to it often enough, still my all time favorite artists might include people like: Lorde, K.Flay, Bon Iver, Daughter (mostly their older stuff), MØ, The Naked and Famous, Phantogram,... but like I said there are so much more
- I like movies where you feel confused/mindblown at the end, Shutter Island is a good example of this kind of movies. Arrival is another example.
- My favourite book will often be the last decent book I read, but here are some books that really struck me or that I always have enjoyed reading: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle, The Century Trilogy by Ken Follett, 1984 by George Orwell, The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck,... I also enjoy books that bring back childhood memories like Narnia by C.S Lewis and Harry Potter by J.K Rowling. The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R Tolkien will also always a special place in my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The night I turned 18 I was in Kotor, Montenegro, in the middle of doing an Interrail through Europe with friends. Wandering through the village we found a construction site with an unfinished building. We went to the third floor and sat on the edge, our feet dangling 20 meters above the ground. I remember listening to the song '17' by Youth Lagoon while looking at the moon shining over the bay and I felt so free.
We were drunk.
It was dangerous.
It was also a lot of fun.
