About Me

I spent the last one and a half years sailing from the Canarias islands over Capo Verde to the Carribian Islands and traveling in Latianamerica. Now I will return to Germany.

I love being outside and exploring the nature/world, but I also like relaxing in a hammock :)
I can be easily distracted by little things, like how the sun touches the ground, and really enjoy those moments.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While traviling through europe with a bike or train I meet a few intressting persons and had great and deep conversations. Every time I met someone new I learn something new or hear about something I did not know it exsists. Through Couchsurfing I hope to meet new people from all around the World and learn more about different lifestyles, cultures and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love searching for new music styles. Currently I´m listening a lot of jazz, blues, metal, rock and instrumental stuff. My favorite artists are Jesper Munk, die Ärzte, Sido, Donny Hathaway as well as Aretha Franklin.

I love books like "The Magic Bus" or "The Alchemist" by Paulo Cuelo, "wild poets", "Atomic Habits" and the book "The Art of Learning" by Josh Waitzkin. I have read every book from the Witcher series and the books by Rüdiger Nehberg and his experiences as humanright-activist and adventurer which had an huge influence on me to start traveling around the world.

Love the wisdom and depth of the series from Avatar(the last Airbander) Marco Polo and Marvel's hit monkey. I love "Forrest Gump", as well as "Captain Fantastic" and
The movie "Respect", about Aretha Franklin, gives my Goosebumps all the times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best things that have happened to me are the people I meet on the street, on the bus, or on the train, and the inspiring and enjoyable conversations we have had together.
- Singing of songs all night long around campfires or with candles at sort of scout camps.
- Staying for 10 days at a sailingship named Thor Heyerdahl and
watching a bloodmoon during the night shiftes.
- Sailing from the Cannarias to Mindelo( Capo Verde) and than Crossing the Atlantic to Martinique
- Swimming in the Middle of the Atlantik
- Sleeping in Caves in Gran Canaria
- Spending Christmastime with other Travelers at a beach in Gran Ganaria
- living at the beach in the Jungle of Martinique for 9 days with other boat-hitchhikers/hippies
- to meet my boat hitchhiker friends/family again and again on different parts of the world :)
- to travel in Dominica by enjoying the talks with the local farmers and exploring the beautiful nature of the island

Teach, Learn, Share

I have juggled a lot in the past. So if you are interested in sharing your knowledge with me or learning how to play the diabolo or poi, juggle three balls or staff spinning, feel welcome to write me :)
I love to cook, but I repeat the same dishes over and over. So if we should meet, I would love to cook some new recipes together :)
