Greetings!
My name is Nilsa (pronounce Kneelsah) and I am 26 years old from New Jersey. I currently live in a Bedouin town called Gayathi 4 hours west of Dubai. Unlike, the glitz and glamour of Dubai, Gayathi is more into camel races, deserted streets and loads of sand. So, what am I doing here? I am growing, reflecting, exploring and teaching biology to a group of lovely 10th graders.

Prior to my life in the middle east, I was teaching high school biology in Baltimore, Maryland for 3 years. During those three years, I traveled as much as I could to satisfy the hunger for exploration I developed during my gap year after college. It was the type of year where I felt lost and thought I would find myself by backpacking through Southeast Asia. Well, its been five years since my first Chang in Khao San road and I have been fortunate enough to traveled to over a dozen countries. My plan is live a abroad for a while and continue meeting new people in unfamiliar places.
