I really got in to travelling when I was halfway my 20's, and decided I want to see every single capital in Europe before I turned 30.

Now I'm almost there, and I'm already looking forward to the next continent (still deciding).

For me, exploring a new city is more about experiencing neighborhoods and being outside, by day and by night, than about visiting every museum there is to visit.

At home, I enjoy riding my racebike and climbing a few times a week. For those who are interested, I've been in the scouts for 20 years!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently started travelling on my own, and I am amazed by how many people you meet this way. Because not every city has good hostels to get to know new people, I decided to give couch surfing a go!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: greatly depends on my mood. I prefer reggae and old rock&roll, but I can appreciate pretty much every other genre there is.

Books is a very difficult question. Maybe the WoT series. Also like books like "The Selfish Gene"

Movies are even more difficult. I prefer feel good movies like Amélie, Les Intouchables or Forest Gump
