Hi! My name is Nina and I'm a student at University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań (Poland). I'm studying eastern studies because I love learning about other cultures and languages.

Most of my life I spend in a small city named Kwidzyn(Poland), but I also lived four years in Bruxelles (Belgium) and one year in Imatra (Finland). Unfortunately I don't remember French at all and never learned Finish :(
I love traveling especially by train. In 2023 me and my 3 friends traveled around Europe by train thanks to the DiscoverEU project. We simply fell in love with traveling by train.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about couchsurfing from a friend, read about it a little more and decided that it would be perfect for me as I love meeting new people and learning about places from locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm listening to any music that catches my interest but mostly rock and alternative music. When it comes to books I read either fantasy or nonfiction, because of my studies lately I'm reading mostly reports about Russia and other eastern countries. Lately I haven't watched a lot of movies but I like watching documentaries, psychological thrillers and anime.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I organised a trip around Europe for me and my friends just after finishing high school and everything went smoothly. I'm still very proud of it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you about my passions (such as crocheting, Russian language, makeup and many more) and hope to inspire you to try some yourself.
I would love to learn about your culture, traditions and all the little things people find too simple to describe in books.
I think it would be great if we could exchange knowledge about our cultures and I think the best way is sharing the cuisine so I would be happy to cook something polish for you.
