About Me

Hello lovely people!

My (nick)name is Breza. In Slovenian it means birch tree. Some people are hugging trees - I am for sure one of them (even though that brings some stereotypes).
I am a philosophy and anthropology student in Ljubljana, but from september 2021 to february 2022 I am going to be on Erasmus exchange in Prague. So, If you are in Prague, do not hesitate to contact me! We can grab a beer or coffee or take a walk in the park. I am ready for new adventures with interesting and a bit crazy people!

What I love: Dancing, books, travelling, swimming in lakes and rivers (colder they are, the greater challenge it is!), (wild) camping, theatre, pupetry, poetry, concerts (I am trying to experience different kinds of music, searching for unexpected enthusiasm), just started climbing...And slacklining in parks!

During last years I have been using this profile together with my friend Nina. In 2018 we made a wonderful 3 week long couchsurfing trip through Czech Republic, Germany and Denmark. After that, profile was often used by me and my friends. Because it will be me again who will be in charge of the profile for next couple of months, you can read informations mostly about myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first found it randomly and liked the concept immediately. When I tried it out I saw only positive things about it. It is kinda alternative way of traveling, really experiencing places, meeting amazing people, not feeling like one of the tourists, it is more deep, couchsurfing gives you stories, not only a long list of visited places. And it feels good to welcome people. Until now, I was welcomed many times, but I hosted rarely. Hope that will change in the future and I will give back to the couchsurfing community :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a gap year after highschool and did workaway at many different farms in Europe. I usually say nothing is really lifechanging, but looking back, this travel made a big change for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some poetry creative writing and impro theatre games which are great fun!

There is sooo many things I need/would like to learn. Probably each of hosts and surfers knows something I am clueless about. Cannot wait to hear about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My poetry :)) smiles, dance company, views on life, facts about Slovenia

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden
