About Me
Hello lovely people!
My (nick)name is Breza. In Slovenian it means birch tree. Some people are hugging trees - I am for sure one of them (even though that brings some stereotypes).
I am a philosophy and anthropology student in Ljubljana, thinking, reflecting the world. Trying to combine theoretical an practical aspects of life to create a balanced day :)
What I love: Dancing, books, travelling, swimming in lakes and rivers (colder they are, the greater challenge it is!), (wild) camping, theatre, pupetry, poetry, concerts (I am trying to experience different kinds of music, searching for unexpected enthusiasm), just started climbing...And slacklining in parks!
Please write me at least a bit personalised request. So, I know you read my profile. It is not too long anyway 😉🙏☀️😜 and btw: I do not care about your vaccination status.
During last years I have been using this profile together with my friend Nina. In 2018 we made a wonderful 3 week long couchsurfing trip through Czech Republic, Germany and Denmark. After that, profile was often used by me and my friends. Because it will be me again who will be in charge of the profile for next couple of months, you can read informations mostly about myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first found it randomly and liked the concept immediately. When I tried it out I saw only positive things about it. It is kinda alternative way of traveling, really experiencing places, meeting amazing people, not feeling like one of the tourists, it is more deep, couchsurfing gives you stories, not only a long list of visited places. And it feels good to welcome people.
Until now, I was welcomed many times, but I hosted rarely. Hope that will change in the future and I will give back to the couchsurfing community :) since I live with my bf in Ljubljana, I finally have a place to offer :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a gap year after highschool and did workaway at many different farms in Europe. I usually say nothing is really lifechanging, but looking back, this travel made a big change for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some poetry creative writing and impro theatre games which are great fun!
There is sooo many things I need/would like to learn. Probably each of hosts and surfers knows something I am clueless about. Cannot wait to hear about it.
