I‘m Nina 20 years old from Berlin.
I study Computer Science at the University in Berlin and really enjoy travelling during the semester break. As I think it’s the best way to rewind and to break out of the bubble I’m living in during my day to day life.
After a long day of Uni I like to escape the city to go road cycling or I do CrossFit to get my head clear.
During the weekend you’re likely to find me in one of the many Bars or clubs in Berlin :)
Especially karaoke bars ;)
However I also enjoy a slow day at home reading a good thriller with a cup of coffee.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will do Interrail with a good friend (m) of mine in september and we would love to meet new people and exchange experiences. His name is Dominic and he is also studying Computer science but in Aachen, Germany. He is 21 years old and we like to travel together because we’re both uncomplicated and easy to please.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think there is not one type of music I’m really into. In my library you can find everything from classical to Rock music. By the way: one of my favorite things to do is to discover new music 🕺🏻
I just recently went to a secret concert which was super exciting!

Reading is one of my favorite things to do if I can find a book which really captures me. Normally I read nonfictional books or thrillers it’s rather hard for me to find an interesting novel. (I’m thankful for recommendations 😌)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Highschool in Australia and lived with a host family

Besides university I volunteer as a tutor (or more like a mentor) for a child whose family fled from Syria to Germany. The family is really welcoming and it feels like a second home <3
