I am an easy going person born in Jakarta and rise in Jakarta. My Parents also from Jakarta (Originally). My parents live with Betawi surrounding, so if you would like to see Jakarta from different side, you may go here, I can show you some.

My Husband comes from South Sulawesi (Bugis - Celebes) and his mother still lives there. My mother in law is a farmer, owning some beautiful paddy field in Bantaeng (South Sulawesi), rising some local cow, goat, etc. My Sisters and Brothers in law also live in Bantaeng, some of them work as civil servant in local government.

After married, I live in Bekasi, West Java (not to far from Jakarta) with my husband and his sisters. I have got 1 son, he is 2 years old.

I work for Japanese company in Cikarang, West Java (Full time employed), it makes me difficult to interact with other people outside. but definitely i love seeing new people, culture, stories, e-mail me.. i may reply anytime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Despite this is a cheaper way to keep on traveling, i am in couchsurfing because I want to have the best experiences from living with local people. I can read many things about a different country, and go to the popular touristic places, but i am sure that sharing with people who are willing to receive backpackers at home, will give me the real experience of be part of another culture.

I love country side since i grow up in capital city, Jakarta being the most modern city in Indonesia. you may not see any country side here.
