I am Nina and I live in the small city of Bern (Switzerland). At the moment I'm doing a gap year, which I spend traveling and working. Next year I want to start studying medicine.
Beside that I also play theater in a little group, above all we are interested in theater in public places. I am also a scouts leader, I enjoy spending time with kids and being out in the nature. The scouts camps every year are quite a highlight for me. Since this August I am also teaching German for free in a cultural center here in Bern, above all for immigrants, who can't afford to pay for it.
In general I like to stay active and most of the time I am motivated to experience new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've made an Exchange year in Argentina and got the opportunity to spend a whole year with a family in their house. There I got to learn how worthy it is to live with people from the country itself and not just in a hotel. Living in a private household makes it much easier to get to know a culture and a country than living in a tourists place.
Besides I like the cultural exchange and I think therefore Couchsurfing is a great opportunity!

I'm willing to share every thing I am able to share; languages, ect. I like to discuss a lot, to exchange ideas concerning social difficulties, economic or ecological alternatives. I think it is very interesting to get to know, how people from other contexts think or talk about global topics, and of course I am also open to share my own opinion.
