About Me
Hi I'm Nina. I'm 27 and originally from lovely Cologne. I've been living in Berlin for six years now and I feel very at hom here. I love exploring the city and especially my Kreuzberg neighborhood. There really is always something to see that's new or something that's been here the last few decades but I'm noticing it for the first time. Even my walk to work can be an adventure. At the moment I have a job at a primary school, but my real passion lies in illustration. I love observing people and nature, turning my surroundings and radom thoughts into pictures and stories. I hope to create children's books soon and work even more in this field.
I really appreciate all the cool places in Berlin, I like finding new tiny cafés, going bouldering and trying out all the delicious food you can get here. My favourite place in the city is still my home though. I love spending time with my roommates here, talking about big and small issues, ordering food and watching nostalgic movies.
Maybe I can share some of these places with you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to meet new people and get around a bit. If the circumstances allow it I'd also love to host some people.
Interests
I love doing all sort of crafts like crochet, pottery and just making stuff in general. I studied biology for a few semesters so I'm always interested in science stuff, plants animals and nature.
