About Me
Hey, you!
Figuring out and understanding people is something I truly enjoy doing. I value cultural sensitivity and open-mindedness and try to express those traits. I assume the best about people, in a manner that doesn’t allow me to jump to conclusions before I let my gut and reason explore. I also believe that what you project, you receive back at some point, and that all things, whether good or bad, happen for a valid reason, which may sometimes be unknown at first. Patience is something I consider important as well, but not without sensible persistence. On that note, I see Couchsurfing as a tool to connect with people and build (strictly non-romantic) relationships that can develop with time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm liking it so far, I met some really lovely and interesting people via Couchsurfing and I got to travel around much more then what I could have hoped for considering I'm on a student level budget. It helped me get to know myself a bit better, discover new things I like and don't like, so I guess I'm here for all of that.
Interests
I like the sea and the sky, and to do everything I can find to in between those two. Museums, galleries, parks and strolls though the city are all to do staples when I travel.
I don't club, drink or smoke, not my scene.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some albums I like to listen to: The Exciting Sounds of Menahan Street Band by Menahan Street Band, The Budos Band by The Budos Band, Modal Soul by Nujabes, Jazz Impressions of Japan by The Dave Burbeck Quartet, Time Out by The Dave Burbeck Quartet...
My Letterboxd username is oyserjam.
The Count of the Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas is my favourite book. Uncle Vanya and In Desert and Wilderness are pieces I like, I also don't skip on any of Jules Verne's or Agatha Christie's work, and I also enjoy fantasy and si-fi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'll decide one day... Not yet.
Teach, Learn, Share
Anything related to my interests I am more then happy to share if asked to, I like to think that I'm patient when it comes to explaining something, but there's only one way to find out (*que dramatic music*).
What I Can Share with Hosts
After all this time on the platform, I still don't know how to phrase this section for it to not sound off in my head... Honest conversation, a recepie, a meal, fun facts, some chores, probably a small thank you gift for hosting me. Eternal thankfulness.
