I grew up in Poland, but now I live and study in the Netherlands.
I love to hear what other people think and why and have always been interested in design, science, physical development (all kinds of movement) and music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that people lose loads of opportunities to discover the world sitting on their couches in hotel rooms.
So why not to hang out with locals, make friends, have a nice talk?!
I did many sports as a hobby. Now I play capoeria a lot and do acrobatics sometimes. I like to learn new physical activities and then jam, improvise. I´m a big fan of Ido Portal and his idea of movement culture.
As a beginning photographer I'm open to every tip :)
Also I'm really into designing and making things myself, from lamps to longboards.
As a travel addict I spend most of my money on this drug.

- making friends
- drum and bass
Music, Movies, and Books
From rock, rock'n'roll to trip hop, ska, dub, minimal techno. Recently I am mostly into trance/tribal/techno/drum and bass, but it depends on my mood. Check me out :)
I've red many touching books. My favourite authors are Fiodor Dostojewski, Orson Scott Card, Philip K. Dick, Leonard Cohen, Stanisław Lem, José Saramago.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hard to pick.
While sailing near the Gulf Islands, Canada, B.C., a friend woke me up in the middle of the night. She showed me one of the most amazing, magical thing I've ever seen. The whole ocean was glowing - water was full of an extraordinary kind of algae and green light emanated from every single corpuscle of it. Swimming in it was quite a mindblowing experience, because the sea looked as starlit as the sky - there was no border between them...
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you some capoeira basic moves, how to do a cartwheel, headstanding or handstanding etc.
I also did some woodwork, so I know some basics, so maybe I could help you with something if you need it.
If you are eg. a dancer, capoerista, yogi, artist, filmmaker (or other type of creative motherfreaker) and we can exchange some skills or ideas - you have a big headstart, I would love to host you :)
