Having made that clear, here are a few words about me:

I believe that the most important thing in life is not to lose your curiosity. Getting to know new people, discovering new places, seeing things from a totally different point of view, that's what makes a person grow.

Instead of standing in your own and other people's way, one should try to go new ways. You might be moving in the wrong direction for a while, but still every step you've made is one that you'll learn from.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I went on a three-week trip through Czech Republic, Poland, Moldova and the Ukraine with a good friend. We stayed in many different cities and always had very friendly hosts. I think it's great that people share what they have with others -- their room, their table, their interests.

Interests

I love blues concerts, singing, going to the theatre and acting myself. And I love my studies - linguistics - which means that I also like engaging in linguistics in my freetime. In line with that, I'm also extremely interested in languages and I really enjoy learning new ones. This is one reason why I enjoy travelling so much. The other one is that I am a tour guide of Frankfurt and my home town Hanau and so I have a natural interest in every new place -- its culture, history and people.

I am a great fan of Terry Pratchett's discworld novels. I have also played in several theatre adaptations of his books.

I'm a doctor who fan. I just love this show.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There have been some amazing moments in my life, especially those connected to travelling and to acting with my theatre group. But I'm not a very nostalgic person - what counts is life now and the amazing things to come! =)
