About Me
Hello! My name is Nina, I’m from the US but I study in the Netherlands. I love, love, love to travel.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m looking to meet people who are also interested in cultural exchange. When I travel I want to know about life in places that are new to me, and Couchsurfing is the best way to do it!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read and watch movies, but I couldn’t possibly choose a favorite! Some books I’ve read recently are The Enchantress of Florence by Salman Rushdie, Walden by Henry David Thoreau, and El Aleph by Jorge Luis Borges. Please recommend me books, movies, or music from your country, or that you’ve encountered on your travels!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A high school exchange in Brittany, France-still one of my favorite places ever.
6 months backpacking in South America. Way too many adventures to count but some my favorites were: hitchhiking and camping across Patagonia, mountaineering in Bolivia, surfing in Uruguay.
Now on my next adventure: I moved to the Netherlands to study and I want to explore as much of Europe as I can while I’m here!
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak fluent English, French, and Spanish, and am learning Dutch and Russian. I love film photography, hiking, camping, cooking, and baking. I also love learning, and I’m currently studying the humanities-I love linguistics, history, archaeology, philosophy, and literature.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love language exchanges, otherwise, just some good company and conversation!
