ABOUT ME
Hello everybody,
I'm Nina(21) from Germany.
I grew up in a very small village in the south of Germany before I've moved to Biberach to live with my grandmother, when I was 18. I,ve got two sisters and four stepsisters - a lot of girls around =).
After I finished school in 2010, I went to Uganda to do a voluntary service. When I came back I missed the closing date for applications and got another year for travelling and enjoying myself. I went to Spain, to Australia and at last to Edinburgh where I'm momentarily staying.
It's one of the most amazing cities I've ever been! I'm doing an English Course at University of Edinburgh up to the 20th of July and afterwards I'm going to travel around Scotland and the UK.
PHILOSOPHY
Sometimes it's important to stand back and figure out what's important in life. As like it's important to allow yourselve to stay still to soak up the environemt around you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Actually I did kind of couchsurfing, when I visited friends all over Germany, who moved out because of there universities. Because I have a whole year for myself I had a lot of time to travel. It was great - they showed me around, we went out together alone or with friends, watched movies, talked a lot - the best way to really experience a city and meet a lot of nice people.
When I heard about couchsurfing I thought it must be one of the best ways to travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As I said - the only kind of couch surfing I did was when I visited friends I already knew.
I'm really looking forward to gain my first experiences abroad!!
Interests
A perfect day begins with a long and nice breakfast in the morning and a cup of coffee, best followed by a day which differs from the one before. =)=)
I like to dance, to go to live bands, bicycle tours, to discover nice places, to be in secondhand shops=), to have a drink with friends, to do spontaneous trips, to get lost in a good book or movie and a lot of more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I celbrated Christmas in the countryside of westuganda with my mentor Mary. 40 degree, red ground, a big big family, a lot to eat and a funny evening with local beer and jokes. I'll never forget that.
