ABOUT ME

Hello!
I'm from England but I live in Berlin. I came on holiday and never left! I am a travel obsessive. If I'm not travelling then I'm planning my next trip and trying to convince people to come with me!

I love cats - I'm always happy to help look after them and provide cuddles.

PHILOSOPHY

'I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.'

I think you get out of life what you put into it, so I am wanting to expand my horizons, meet as many different people as possible, and learn interesting things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I ended up putting up a lonely stuck traveller in my place a couple of years ago, and it worked out really well - so I thought maybe I could do this occasionally.

I then went to the States for a couple of months and met some really cool people while couchsurfing. I've been to several CS meet ups and met a lot of fun people.

Interests

Honestly my only hobby these days is travel. Does that make me boring? Maybe. I'm ok with that. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read, I will read pretty much anything.

I love to rock out to rock and grunge music, particularly 90s stuff. But I also can't resist dancing to cheesy 90s music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumped off the top of the Macau tower. It's the scariest thing I've ever done in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to impart whatever wisdom I have - but I'm afraid that's not much!

I'm travelled quite a lot and can make recommendations about places to go and see. I used to be a tour guide in Berlin and love sharing my city with people.
I studied philosophy for many years so am happy to discuss the deeper meanings of life.

I started my own business a few years ago, and while it didn't work out, I learned a lot and am happy to share my experiences as I got so much out of the process. Happy to share my knowledge of the Berlin startup scene

I also know where the best cat videos are on the internet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know a lot of CSers cook for their hosts - I'll be honest, you do not want me to do that. I cannot cook, at all. But I'll take you out to dinner or for drinks, and will look after your pets.
