About Me

I live in a middle sized town in the middle of Germany, called Jena. About 10 years ago a used to live in Berlin for about 2 years. Back then I met some couchsurfers and I always wanted to try couchsurfing myself. I never got any further than creating an account. Now, 10 years later, I will try again.
I don't travel solo anymore but with my boyfriend, Christopher. We've been together for alsmost 7 years and share an appartment for 3 years now. Unfortunately our appartment ist very small so we can't host any other couchsurfers. Since we both have regular jobs to attend to we canÄt really travel the world like we should have done in our 20ies. We regret that! So now whenever we can find vacation time together and have a little bit of money saved up we try to travel to new places.
Christopher is a very calm almost quiet kinda of guy and I'm quite the opposite once you get to know me. He's an introvertded artist and I am the extroverted, lively woman with a glass of wine in her hand. I also love to cook and I am a little bit creative myself, but above all I am a social being. I thrive from connection with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, I am here because I would like to travel the world and make some friends along the way! Also it is waaaay better to get to know a new city when a local is showing you around. Or a least give you tips on where to eat, where to have a drink, where to party and what to experience culturally that is special in the town that only locals will know. You know?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 17 I went to the US and went to school there for like 10 months. I lived with a family. They were the best, loveliest, kindest people. They made me their family and we still talk and I visit, when we get tha chance. Definately one of the best experices of my entire life.
