ABOUT ME

I graduated at the University of Stellenbosch in 2014, and love to travel and the outdoors! I want to travel the world.
I'm a big animal lover, and my hobbies include, horseriding, hiking and photography.

I harvested in Napa, California (in 2015 and 2016) and then went on a amazing Roadtrip in the US! I've also been to New Zealand (2016) for harvest, and then road-tripped through the South Island and wwoof in the North Island. In 2017 I worked in Australia( in the Yarra Valley, near Melbourne) and then in Austria, and then returned to Australia in 2018. The second part of 2018 was spent in South Africa and 2019, started in South Africa, but I also worked in New Zealand.

Since it's so difficult for South Africans to get work visas, I decided to go to Europe anyway and work on a workaway kind of agreement. To gain more experience in winemaking and ended up in Champagne and Switzerland.

I also have a wine instagram account (Wine and Wonderlust) and hope to travel around the wine regions of France and hopefully taste some wines. I would absolutely love to live with locals if possible, to really experience and learn more about the Culture =)

If I do host I prefer to usually host women just, just because I don't see couchsurfing as a dating site 😉 Just a cool site to meet new people and make new international friends! More than happy to meet up for a drink or city exploring with anyone!

I would love to show people a bit of South african culture, and my home language is Afrikaans. I can show you around Stellenbosch or go for coffee/drink.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kruger Park, riverraft the oranjeriver, the Kgaladi park-near botswanna, that orange sanddunes= wow. I've been on a boatcruise in Croatia, and it was AWESOME :) visit the Grand Canyon, the Antelope Canyon, Yosemite National Park, New Zealand Roadtrip, Australia 💙
