We used to host whe we had a place to call ours, but now we are living as digital nomads, so the chances to host someone now, unfortunatly, are very small.
I am a traveler: I love to travel between countries, people, books, food.
Recently, Rafa and I build our own company, and decided to live worldwide: our journey away from Brazil starts on november, and we can't wait to see what we'll get! We'll start in Europe, but we have no date or place to finish it.
Ah, very important information: our adventures companions are two amazing and loving paraplegic cats! Yes, if we sent you a couch request and you are afraid to receive them, let me tell you a secret: they are the most amazing animals on earth! Plus, they don't jump (so your stuffs are safe) and the don't poop or pee by themselves, we have to estimulate, and we do it in a diaper, which means no bad smell!
We surely understand that it's difficult to accept to host animals, but we won't give up CS, because we truly believe in the amazing people that we can meet (and already met) in this plataform! Even not to host, but to eat something or drink something, we are open to new experiences :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because: I entered in a gay nightclub forbidden for woman following a guy that took the cellphone of the hands of my host csurfing in Florence (not robbing though, hes was just using the maps); I ate the most amazing pasta for breakfast also in Florence; I had an interest conversation with a 9yo host kid in Paris two years ago, even thought I didn't speak a single word in french neither she spoke a word in english; experienced a bar tour with hosts in Haarlem (I won't even talk about the fondue that they made for us); I went to a butterfly sanctuary in Toluca because our host thought us would like it - and we loved it; we hosted a israeli guy who was absolutly vegan, practice yoga every morning, was a piece of walking peace and we kind of love him forever now; we hosted a swiss girl who was travelling alone and made me feel an older sister, introduce us really good music and share lots of sweets smiles! More? If you need more, send me a message, we can exchange amazing experiences, I love to hear CS histories!
I never had a bad experience and I always learn something new. I believe in generosity and empathy of those in CouchSurfing, because that's what I practice every time I host someone!
I love books and Iove to eat; I love animals and I love a good talk. I have an obscene pleasure in cooking, but not so great pleasure in doing the dishes.
And I love to learn a new idiom! I'm trying french now and despite what I used to thought, it's not that hard!
Music, Movies, and Books
(are you going to judge me?)
I can't help, but after all this time... Still Harry Potter haha
But I am an addicted reader and I love lots and lots of other books, and I think would be unfair name only few.
Favorite song ever is Black - Pearl Jam. The others change time in time, but Black always remains, so much that I'm only waiting for the right time (actually, money) to tattoo it in my skin.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There's more than one, actually:
- Rafa and I traveled for 4 months together, through Mexico and Central America;
- We adopted 2 paraplegic cats and they changed our view about love and gratitude;
- We build our own company and we still build it every day and it's being amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not so good in teach, but we can exchange recipes, idioms, life and travel experience, so much things, everything actually!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not sure, what can I do for you? You tell me and we make it happens :)
