About Me

CURRENT MISSION

'worst come to worst, my peoples come first'. and to become world's best vet.

ABOUT ME

I'm a veterinary medicine student. I'm a laid-back, down-to-earth person that often laughs and loves to make people laugh. I enjoy a good drink with some nice company, a good book and chilling out in the sun with cold beer ;)

Oh, I know. I'm scared of clowns. Thank you so much, Stephen King.

PHILOSOPHY
Just be yourself. Stand up for what you believe in. Don't be afraid to dream. It takes a lot of work and sacrifice, but.. the world is yours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since I cannot offer my couch at the moment, I'm always up for a coffee, drink or just hanging out around Warsaw / Olsztyn. I'm a big fan of sheesha, so I can take you to some nice places where you can chill out and smoke. If you're a fan of Indian food - hit me up also. If you're looking for someone to help you out with Polish - here I am ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far very positive, I surfed someone's couch, I met some great people here in Warsaw, made some amazing friends ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Hip hop's been my love for about 12 years now. It taught me alot about people and the world we're living in, gave me a chance to meet fantastic people and helped me through alot.

Reggae gave me a chance to discover that the world isn't always as bad as it seems and that you can find something positive in every situation. Because come on, how can you be sad when Bob tells me not to cry? :) Reggae/hip hop fusion by Nas and Damian Marley blew my mind.

Trip hop showed me that you don't always need words to express yourself.

Books? Some of my all-time favourites:
The Godfather, Goodfellas, Memoirs of a Geisha, Lord Of The Rings, The Hobbit (sadly, I've only made it through a half of "Silmarillion"), Harry Potter, Ender's Game, Metro 2033, The Shining, The Dreamcatcher, Bag Of Bones, It, The Green Mile - basically Stephen King, Makes Me Wanna Holler, The Autobiography of Malcolm X, One Day It Will All Make Sense..

..aaaand "The Song of Ice and Fire" - mr. Martin, you're a fucking genius!

Also, I publicly admit to reading the entire "Twilight" saga. I just wanted to know what all the hype was about. Now I can make fun of it.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan and I'm crazy about Han Solo. And I'm absolutely in love with The Godfather and young Al Pacino as Michael Corleone. I've once made it through a 12-hours marathon of LOTR. Mufasa's death in The Lion King always makes me really sad. I was really scared while watching The Devil's Advocate. I love the moment when Morgan Freeman finally goes to Mexico in Shawshank Redemption. And again - I watched the entire "Twilight" saga, sadly they didn't want to give me my money back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to participate in the 'distant adoption' program - I 'adopted' a kid in Zambia that I supported financially for a long time. Every time I got a letter or a drawing from her, it was an amazing feeling and if you think about it - it really doesn't take much to help someone out.

Also the time spent on my internship. It allowed me to see and do things that are not likely to see or be done in everyday's life - I've seen a beating heart inside someone's chest - so I'm grateful for that.

Seeing a birth during my OB/GYN classes. Watching a tiny human being entering this world was a fantastic feeling.

Also, travelling to the United Arab Emirates showed me a completely different world which I've loved and I still miss.

Teach, Learn, Share

Never ask a cricket fan to explain you the rules, because he will and this will certainly last ages.

I'm open to learn about foreign cultures. Teach me one word in your language and I'll be happy, like when I was taught "la atakallamu al arabiya" in Arabic.

The first Couchsurfer I've ever met - Assaad - taught me how to make zatar and write my name in Arabic. Every little thing counts ;)

I can teach you first aid. Or how to make traditional Polish dumplings with every stuffing possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, alcohol and lots of interesting stories ;)
