ABOUT ME

I am a free-spirited young woman who is finally living the adventures she always dreamed of. I am hungry to experience life to the fullest through travelling. My skateboard and I are heading south and along the way I hope to find fun places to skate and meet interesting people to share smiles and good conversation with.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because I have a powerful desire to learn all that I can while I'm here. I believe that to be kind is the most important thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just signed up as a couch surfer because I am frugally travelling, and one day I would like to invite others to land on my couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I hitch hiked south along the coast of Washington and Oregon, and once I got into California I discovered couchsurfing. A ride dropped me in Arcata and I asked two travellers sitting outside the university where the hostel was and they said 'sorry, no hostel. Check out couchsurfing.com'. What a blessing! Within minutes I had hooked up a place to stay and I swear it was the best couch in town! I was put in contact with the most incredible people, and that continues to be my experience to this day. I am now surfing in Isla Vista!

Interests

Yoga, deep luxurious breathing, stretching on bike racks & logs & a wide variety of outdoor public 'art', dancing my butt off, sunsets, sunrises(when I can make them), mother ocean! writing....painting.......sing ing ......drumming....cooking.. ...reading......
peace, learning, longboarding, organic food, nurturing the self, swings, hacky sack, red wine, floating, chanting, laughing, loving, baths, spoonfuls of almond butter!, cycling, the big dipper (Big D's always there for me!), Casseopia, the moon, exploring alleys, photography,tea, coffee, camping, tattoos, piercings, fire, candles, incense, crows, farmers markets, sushi, thrift stores, Man it just goes on and on! exclamation marks! Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Ashtanga Yoga as I have practiced for 5 years, longboarding, painting, or how to make a killer hummus. (Oh, and I recently learnt the Charleston when me and my couchsurfing hosts crashed a dance class in Monterey!) I guess since I have a degree in Interior Design we can play 'pimp the pad' if you're down.
