ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Lisa. My home country is Germany and I was born in Kassel, a city with about 200 000 inhabitants. Kassel is a beautiful city in the middle of Germany. Its famous for one of the biggest art exhibitions in the world, named Documenta. Furthermore it has great parks where you can relaxe. I love my homecity but I love it to travel too.
My parents are hosts of servas since more than fifteen years and we always enjoyed visits of people from all over the world. This is a very good way to get to understand the world better and learn from other people experiances. My brother lived in Portugal for two years and I think it was one of the best parts of his life.
My own experiances are limited to visit other countries by traveling in small groups. In this way I traveled to Scotland, Great Britain, France, Italy, Croatia, Danemark, Portugal, Iceland, Greece and scandinavia just to give some examples.
I did two exchange programs, one with turkey and one with California. The only thing which I regret is that I just stayed a month in California because I had to go to school.
Last year i did an internship at west virginia university and did some research as a scientist. It was an incredible time I spent in west virginia from august to december 2017.
Instead of travelling my hobbies are cooking, playing guitar (if I have time), meeting friends and playing ultimate frisbee.
After finishing school in 2010 I started an education as a chemical assistant. I studied nutrition science in fulda and got my bachelor of science in 2016.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

- travel through great britain in 2011 and trough scandinavia in 2013 with interrail and servas. It was amaaaazing :)
- doing research at west virginia university and getting to know so many lovely people
